The Law of Attraction – Principles

August 16, 2008

1) The Principle of Manifestation

This principle proposes that overall consciousness is something that we ultimately choose as human beings. People can choose to be conscious so that they can have complete and total awareness in the here and now. Even though we may not completely recognize it, we are constantly asking ourselves the main question that pertains to current consciousness: we want to know what focused consciousness can positively create for us.

2) The Principle of Magnetism

This is a key principle that concerns equal return for our thinking. You can only attract energy of like kind. If you put out positive emotions and thoughts, then you can expect to pick up positive associations. The universe is full of energy that is constantly being recycled by us and also moves within us. Each person is an important member of a delicate creation seeking complete balance – a life lesson that has been adopted by just about every culture on the planet. People naturally seem to understand that, in life, much of what you get is dependent upon what you give.

3) The Principle of Pure Desire

The Principle of Pure Desire states that your intentions will have a great impact on the return you get. If your actions and thoughts are driven by absolutely pure intention, then you can be sure that the outcome will be in your favor. In order for those intentions to be pure, you must be thinking in a state that is free of any fear, doubt, or notion of desperation. Your motives must be clear and worthy if you are going to receive a positive response. If you fail to make your requests with good and clear motives, then your positive energy will be negated and will not be reciprocated.

4) The Principle of Paradoxical Intent

This principle is one that dictates the way that situations evolve as a result of direct thought. If you act in desperation, for example, then a paradox will be created that will result in a negative return on your intended energy. Because you are desperate in your thoughts, a certain vibration will be sent out which will have a negative impact on the world around you. Because of this, people who might otherwise have been in position to help you will be pushed away.

5) The Principle of Harmony

This is the principle that concerns a person’s ability to gain the good things they want in life. If you make a choice to live in accord with the universe and do not put out negative vibes, then you will effectively set yourself up for a plethora of good feelings and positive results. This can only happen if a person makes the conscious decision to align themselves with people around them and the flow of the universe. This is the one of the universal laws that requires the kind of absolute attention to positive thinking that many people just aren’t willing or able to put out.

6) The Principle of Right Action

This is the principle that rewards people who do the right things in life. The Principle of Right Action also indicates that in order to experience things like value, honor, and dignity, a person must do their part to promote those qualities in their own surroundings. If you, on the other hand, do things to break down these important universal qualities, then you will see those things deteriorate and erode in your own life. Because of this, people need to constantly be thinking about their choices and considering the impact that they might have both on themselves and on others.

7) The Principle of Expanding Influence

Many people don’t understand the overriding power of their own personal energy. Energy is one of the things that is constantly expanding in the world. If you work hard enough to have a large personal positive vibration, then that good energy can be felt throughout the world. Things that you never imagined might actually happen if you concentrate hard enough on your own personal thoughts and emotions. If you make the conscious decision to live a quality life that promotes happiness for those around you, then the positive power of influence will eventually expand to impact all of those people and things that are around you.

The Law of Attraction – We’re Back!

August 15, 2008

I apologize for the delay. I had some internet issues that took a while to resolve. (As it turns out, the problem was at the box and probably wasn’t that hard to discover, but we’re in a newly developed area and it seems like these things take forever) The important thing is that the Law of Attraction blog is back and won’t be going anywhere soon.

I’ve noticed that a lot of people find my blog with search terms that begin ‘Can I use the law of attraction to’ I want to say right now that the Law of Attraction can be used for anything. You can use it to find a job, attract a life partner, make more money, find friends….whatever you want, you can achieve with the Law of Attraction. The only thing you have to do is put into practice what you learn through this blog and other resources, and you can achieve anything.

Every now and then you will see a link to a product on the side of the blog. Each of these products helps you to learn how to put the Law of Attraction to use in your life. They have been recommended to me by people who participate in web forums, email groups, etc. Feel free to browse them and decide if they are of interest to you or not. No hard feelings if they aren’t. They are there for the benefit of those who want to use them, but this blog is about much more than products. My greatest hope is that you will learn how to use the Law of Attraction and start applying it in your life as well as see excellent benefits.

Have a great day! I’ll be back for some helpful tips tomorrow.

The Law of Attraction – Affirmations

July 25, 2008

Let’s talk about clearing subconscious thoughts that may be blocking the Law of Attraction from working in your life. Too many of us believe that we’re not worthy of what we desire. We have been conditioned to believe that wanting too much is wrong or selfish. We’ve grown up with limiting beliefs, and most of the time we don’t even realize how they shape our choices.

Let’s be perfectly clear. There is enough to go around. It doesn’t matter what you want, there is an enormous supply available! Love, Money, friendships…whatever it is that you desire can be had, but you have to believe that you deserve it both consciously and subconsciously.

That sounds easy enough, but the reality is that it’s hard to break away from beliefs you have had your entire life. It can be difficult to recognize engrained, limiting behaviors, and thoughts. You have to take the time to bring the subconscious to the conscious.

One popular way to do this is through affirmations. An affirmation is a simple way to change your subconscious views, and in the long term, they can only help your success with the Law of Attraction. — Even if you think you have no limiting beliefs, give affirmations a shot. It certainly can’t hurt and you might be surprised at what you discover in the process.

As an example: You want more money, but subconsciously, you worry what people would think if you had more. You wonder if you would change how you behave, and if that change would be good or bad. You wonder if you would spend wisely. You wonder if you could deal with all of the changes other people would undergo. Would friends and family suddenly expect you to be the bank? There are plenty of ‘what ifs’ that may run through your thoughts when considering your desires. It’s okay. Hear the thoughts, and then let them go. Write your affirmation, say it as many times as you can daily and soon those thoughts will fade only to be replaced by more positive and productive thoughts.

My affirmation for money might look something like this:
Money flows freely and abundantly into my life, and I am worthy to receive it.
I am worthy of all that my heart desires.
I allow myself to have more than I ever dreamed possible.

Affirmations do two things. They help you to rewrite your internal dialogue and they also help you feel the emotion we talked about previously. When you first begin using affirmations, you may not feel the emotional attachment, but after using them for a while, you will begin to feel the emotion and that is where the power of the words lie — If you stop feeling the emotion and the affirmation just seems routine, then write a new one. If you can’t write one that seems fitting, then do a quick internet search. There are plenty of examples to choose from, and I’m sure that you’ll find at least one or two that fits your needs.

The Law of Attraction – Let’s Go Deeper

July 16, 2008

Like attracts Like
What you see is what you get
Your Thoughts Become Your Reality
You Reap What you Sow
What you put in, you get back
What Goes Around Comes Around

All of the statements above are representations of the Law of Attraction’s basic concept. We’ve spent some time going over the basic concept because I want to make it clear that at it’s simplest point, it really is easy. So where do people fail with the Law of Attraction while so many others succeeed? It is unfortunate that the popular movie ‘The Secret’ does not go beyond the idea of thinking about what you want. Those who watch it often times set their intention and then wait for it to happen. Guess what? There’s more to it!

Thought is a powerful force in and of itself, but even more powerful is emotion. Feeling something has a greater impact on the Law of Attraction than merely thinking about it. The other thing that often is missed is that you have to take action. Some call it inspired action, but whatever it is labeled, you must do something. If you suddenly get an idea, that seems to be in line with what you want, then act on it! The Universe is pointing you in the right direction.

Here is an easy example:

You want a new job, so you clearly define in your thoughts the job you want, what it will pay, and the timeframe in wich you want it.

Now, sit down in a quiet place and imagine that you have the job you want. FEEL what it’s like to have the job. Smell, touch, taste, and hear every detail possible. How does the job feel to you? Really take your time with this because Emotion is more powerful than thought, so don’t rush the feelings as you imagine as many details as you possibly can! There is no right or wrong way to do this, and there isn’t a time limit. It will happen as fast or slow as is right for you. Do not judge this process.

Now comes the action part. Start looking for a job. Look in newspapers, on the internet, talk to friends about the job you’re seeking. If you meet someone unexpected, then take a moment to figure out where they might fit into the grand scheme of things. They may have been put in your path to help you succeed. Simply be aware of what the Universe is bringing your way and take action. Coincidence serve a purpose.

Find your quiet spot once a day for a week. Think, feel and then take action. If you can do this more than once a day, then great! The more you do it, then quicker it becomes your reality. Make sure that you are very clear about what you want. If you keep shifting those ideas around, then you will continue to shift the creation of them as well and nothing will manifest via the confusion.

You can use this method for anything, not just jobs, of course.

New Law of Attraction Coming Soon!

July 12, 2008

I’ve been under the weather, so I’ll post the next law of attraction article within the next two days or so.  I’m not sure what’s wrong, but I had an episode of my body temp dropping to 96.5 or something like that earlier today.  Providing I feel better tomorrow, I’ll get back to writing!

Quick Update – The Law of Attraction

July 9, 2008

I have another article on the Law of Attraction that I’m working on but in the meantime, I wanted to tell you how abundance check therapy is working in my life. First, I set out with the thought that I wanted more financial abundance (doesn’t everyone?) and then I allowed for any tiype of abundance as a broad thought.

Within 3 days, I found a great free online course for a subject I had been researching for months. This course has everything I need and more. I don’t even remember what I was looking for when I stumbled upon this course, but it hit home for me. Abundance check therapy does work.

In broader terms, I’ve been trying to meet people as I’m in a new town. I don’t work outside the home, which makes it somewhat more difficult. Within a week of writing the abundance check, I have met a good number of people. Some of them, I’ve even made plans to get together with soon. So friendships are developing at just the point when I thought I may never meet people of similar interests.

Now that doesn’t seem like much, but it is what I needed in my life right now. By providing myself a way to get into the right mind set, I was able to take small actions to make these things reality. Before, I had taken leap after leap and gotten no where; I had to admit that the only thing that changed was the ABT. So try it out! You may be surprised to find that the Law of Attraction really can do amazing things if you use it properly.

The Law of Attraction – What is it?

July 8, 2008

At its very basic meaning the Law of Attraction states: Like Attracts Like

While the popularity of the Law of Attraction has grown immensely, it is not fair to say that this is a ‘new age’ way of thinking. For example: In 1877, the term “Law of Attraction” was used by Helena Blavatsky in her first book on esoteric mysteries, Isis Unveiled: Secrets of the Ancient Wisdom Tradition.

In 1937, Napoleon Hill wrote the popular book Think and Grow Rich, which still circulates frequently in 2008. 71 years after the book was published, and people still are drawn to read it because it offers something of value, and introduces them to a way of thinking that makes sense, delivers hope, and provides results.

So what exactly is the Law of Attraction and how do you apply it to your life? The truth is that there are more ways to apply the Law of Attraction than I can write about in this small review. The main idea is to create your desires; don’t just say ‘I want’ but instead say, ‘I have.’ For example saying ‘I want more money.’ produces more ‘want’ but it does not ‘create’ the change of finances in your reality.

There are two ways that I start using the Law of Attraction; neither of them require advanced understanding of the principle. The first thing I do is create a collage. By doing this, I have begun to place my thoughts on what I want to attract. For example, I want to attract a car of my choosing…the first thing I do is create a collage with a picture of the car as the prominent piece. From there, I add descriptions and pictures of special features, and whatever I find that directly relates to that specific car. I then put my collage in an area where I will see it often. It sounds a bit cheesy, but it does what it should. It helps me create the mind set for attracting what I desire.

The second thing I use is often called abundance check therapy. Its use is broader, but it does the same job as the collage I’ve created. In abundance check therapy, you use one of your own bank checks; on the pay to line write your own name. Where you would normally write the amount of the check (both numbers and words) put ‘Paid In Full’ and on the signature line ‘The Law of Abundance’ Again, I know it sounds silly, but it does what it should do.

In the next post, we’ll talk more about applying the Law of Attraction to your life and I’ll show you two programs that delve deeper into the subject that you may find useful.
